Hello again!
Studio 14 is my dream come true—a luxury portrait photography studio right on Main Street in Downtown Montrose, Colorado! Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of mountains and rivers; not far from Ouray and Telluride. I can capture your story in the great outdoors or inside our bright and beautiful studio. Whether you’re looking for stunning outdoor portraits or elegant studio shots, Studio 14 is here to provide an unforgettable photography experience.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to be on adventures. In 2005, I landed a consulting job working with the National Park Service. This amazing job enabled me to see the beautiful parks and meet lovely people across the United States. Thus began a journey that fueled my passion for adventure and photography.
My Photography Journey
In 2016, I began a new venture with my first photography business, Gabrielle in Denver, which has since grown into what is now Studio 14. As a visual storyteller and lifelong learner, I pride myself on personal interaction with each and every client, for each and every shoot. It is those interactions that reveal the secrets to capturing the best portraits in the best locations, with a complete understanding of clients' needs, expectations, and fears.
Life in Montrose, Colorado
These days, I live in Montrose, Colorado, with my husband, Kevin, and our pup, Nina. Montrose is a small town in Western Colorado that suits our work-life balance beautifully. It is also close to rivers, reservoirs, and lakes—Nina's quite the water dog and lives for the river—not to mention hiking, biking, and all kinds of other recreating.
Family and Professional Life
I'm a proud momma of a recent medical school grad and still have roots in Aurora, where my dad lives. The next chapter in photography has allowed me to partner with Kevin on our photography adventures and expand what Studio 14 has to offer. From stunning sets in our studio on Main Street to on-location shoots nationwide, we are always seeking our next adventure. We’ve made many friends along the way and it’s been an honor to document all the amazing life events we’ve been privileged to photograph.
Accomplishments and Recognition
I am proud to mention that my portrait photography work has been featured in various publications, including Wayfinder Magazine, the Montrose Mirror, Montrose Living Magazine, and a National Park Service Annual Report. I am also a three-time International Portrait Masters Award Winner for both black and white and color portrait photography.
